How does response trigger work

This is the tube that gives air to the cylinder which powers the trigger rod. Other than that, the only thing you can see is a small metal rod behind your trigger. I think it actually adds to the gun myself. It looked the same as the one already in there so i didnt feel like taking it apart, like it said to. Other than that i have the flow control and cylinder assemblies installed.
